Moving Ahead and Weekend Away

OK everyone, I've just sent out the post with our senior staff mission briefing, which I encourage you all to read; it has some good information in there, and some good points raised.

We'll be en-route to the border for a couple of days IC, so I'd like everyone to just get down in at least one mission post or personal log your own preparations, or your observations of the preparations of others. We're not exactly going into a war zone or preparing for definite combat, but we are going to go into an area where there's a fair chance we'll end up getting either shot at or caught in the cross-fire somewhere, so that'll likely set the mood on the ship a little bit.

Now, I'm going to be away this weekend, starting tomorrow and lasting right up through Monday, as I'll be attending Destination: Star Trek London, so I likely won't be able to get on and do much myself, but you can be assured that I'll be making a few posts once I'm back and starting off the next series of JPs. I'll try and check my messages as often as I can, so if there's anything critical that you need me for, or perhaps if you're going to be in London for the event yourself, just drop me a line. For everything else, the XO will be in charge for the weekend.
