Amongst his friends and colleagues, he is always willing to share a joke and enjoy himself, but he is rarely one to partake in the flights of youth anymore, and his off-duty activities haven't landed him in disciplinary action for a number of years. |

| Family | Rackham's wife and two children live at his home on Alpha Centauri, and the doctor ensures he saves up his leave time enough to be able to get back to see them regularly at least twice a year, though if his assignment has him closer to home he will try to get back more often. He keeps in touch with the three of them by subspace whenever a signal can be received or sent, though on deep space assignments or assignments on the far side of the Federation, they have to make do with recorded messages to one-another. |
