New Crew, New Mission

Right guys, as you all will know by now, I've been pushing ahead to get the final few posts of our last mission out to get that wrapped up and out of the way so that we can start our new one, and be ready for you guys to all come aboard. As you'll notice by the fact that I've likely filled your email inboxes tonight, we have now progressed onto that next mission!

The mission is titled 'Old Relics', and as well as finding information about it on the missions page, I will also be shortly doing a revamp of the sim's front page to include some information on the point in the story that we are currently at, so that everybody who visits the site can tell at a glance at what point in the story we are up to.

Now, this mission will be part of a 3-mission arc surrounding the object we will find during the course of it, and it may even last into a 4th mission if it goes well enough. I've already set up in my opening post that the new crew - those who didn't join us 4 months previously in IC time at Starbase 218 - will be rendezvousing with us in a number of hours aboard the USS Antarctic - a Galaxy-class vessel, and the one that Benjamin served as an XO on under its current captain before he gained a command of his own. I'll likely be starting posts with each of you shortly to introduce you to the game, but in the mean time, it might be a good idea for those of you coming on the Antarctic to do a post with each other, or even solo, just going through what you're doing/have been doing on the ship whilst you've been travelling out to meet up with us.

Oh, also I'll be putting up a map as soon as I can find the time of where the ship has been thus far, and where we are presently, just to give you a rough idea of things.
