Sim Stats and Targets

Hey guys
I was looking through the sim's stats today (found here, if you're unsure: http://endeavour.pegasusfleet.net/nova/index.php/sim/stats), and I noticed how, with tonight's spat of stuff from me, we've actually equalled what we put out last month already, and we're not even half-way through this month yet. This fills me with good feelings :D
I was also looking down towards the bottom of the stats, where the site tries to predict how well we're going to do. It never gets it right of course, because it takes the amount of posts we have so far this month, assumes that we'll keep going at the same pace, and then just adds the remaining days until the end of the month.
However, it is quite an interesting little tool, and I've been wondering if we can't use it some how. Presently, as the stats stand now, it is predicting:
Posts by month end: 46.36
Logs by month end: 5.45
We'll ignore the decimals, since we can't really put out 0.36 of a post :P
I think we can take these figures and make a reasonable target for ourselves here, guys. If we half the posts figure to 23, I'd like us all to see if we can push to reach at least that this month; it really shouldn't be too difficult, considering how many we have currently.
I'd also like us to try and hit that '5' for personal or duty logs. We've never been too big on them on the Endeavour (mainly because I forget to do them regularly myself), but I think that they can provide a valuable and unique insight into your character. The way I've been doing it as well, is I've been separating out my 'Captain's Log' and my 'Personal Log' into two separate entities, each with it's own style.
My Captain's Log is in the form of my official thoughts and reports for the day, whereas my personal log is more freeform, where my character can speak his mind more.
This kind of format can easily be ported into any of your characters' disciplines too; 'Station Security Log', or 'Yeoman's Log' or 'Chief Medical Officer's Log' in addition to your own personal logs. Give it a go, I think you'll find it interesting :)
Anyway, the point I was trying to get myself around to is that I'd like everyone to try and push together to reach these targets; don't just leave it and assume somebody else will do it, don't feel that it isn't your responsibility to try and hit these targets; it should be a joint effort, and as such joint rewards. So everyone just give it a go, OK? :D
Now, I'm most likely on some sort of sugar rush right now, which is why I'm still typing this much after midnight, so I'm going to be getting off now. However, expect within the next few days another news item, this time announcing the end-of-mission awards which I'll be endeavouring to hand out.
