A Departure and Skipping Ahead

Firstly, I must sadly announce a departure from the sim. Due to a lack of time and that annoying little distraction called Real Life, our XO has unfortuantely been forced to take the decision to leave us. He's been with us on the sim for some time now, and I'm sad to see him go, but hopefully things will lighten up enough for him in perhaps a year or so that he'll be able to come back and rejoin us.
Now, with the current state of how the mission is going and activity, as well as the main controller of the action regarding the station leaving us, I've decided that it would be in the sim's best interests for us to skip ahead past the end of this mission, and progress on to other things where we've got a bit more freedom; and so we're going to be heading off to deal with some Klingons over on the other side of TF11 territory!
I'll be writing up a few narration posts to finish up our role here on DS19, which will allude to how the mission actually went ahead and how it finished, and I'll be starting off the new mission posts soon after. Once I've got the new mission up on the site, please please please feel free to get back into your writing by writing some individual or joint posts - about anything, it doesn't really matter, but we'll be back aboard the ship and travelling at warp towards somewhat calmer seas than those we left, so you should have plenty to write about.
With the conclusion of the mission Divisions, there'll also be a couple of changes;
Firstly, Dr. Jerome will be moving up into the CMO position, as planned upon the conclusion of the DS19 arc.
Secondly, Mr. Kessel, in light of his fantastic work on this sim since joining, will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant JG. Additionally, for the same reasons, Yeoman Blaise will be promoted to PO 2nd Class.
We also have a new Chief of Security coming onboard in the form of LT. Krang Darkmoon, and our various NPC chiefs from the DS19 arc - Commanders th'Ralik and Rackham, Lieutenants Keldan, Rubens and Madrat - will all be staying aboard DS19, and thus being removed from the sim. You may still see them on the authors list when creating new posts; this is just a temporary thing until Nova evolves to the point where I can deactive them without deleting them.
Now, last note on this long news post is activity; I know things have been slow for a little while, but moving ahead now we need to be active. If any of you won't be able to meet up to the activity level needed for the sim, then please let me know so that we can either take you off the manifest or make appropriate arrangements.
